Going Down

On a lovely hot day me and my family went to Splash planet. The sun was beaming on the water Which reflected off the water and making a distinguished orange colour shining. Off the surface of the water and it was packed to the brim with people   and all the slides were packed and all the seats were taken. But that didn’t stop me and my dad from getting to the top of the slippery winy blue slide.But when we got to the top of the castle slide that had a lot of stairs . I looked down and I felt Butterflies in my stomach, but when me and my dad got on the slide I felt even more Butterflies flapping around in my stomach. As the water rushed past my toes and some got into my mouth and I said to my dad, “Time to get off,” but  swoosh we flung down the sea blue slide. I was  screaming for my life because it was my first time going down the sea  blue slide. And me and my dad went . Around and around as me and my dad  went down the slide and  every thing was a big blue bler (blur). I wanted to be sick but my dad said “please no” said my dad so I held it in.  but I was relieved  that we  had stop (stopped) spinning but then we zoom down the slide as fast as lighting but when we were about to reach the bottom of the slide we got trap (trapped) in between the two walls on the slide. Than really fast these two other people came screaming down the slide and they basht(bashed) into us and we all made a big splash into the ice cold water and I said “let's do it again” “no way hozay” said my dad and he went to get some hot chip’s. But I snuck back up to the  slide  and when it was my turn I went  really fast and slid down at high speed on the really long slide  that (was) as straight as (a) golf club show splash I hit the bottom of the slide and at the corner of my eye. I saw my dad standing there with cold and soggy chips and my dad had a half smiling half angry face and he said “where have you been” Did I get in trouble?

I am writing about a time in my life when I went down a slide my one is about when me and my family went to Splash Planet on the weekends when I was six years old and it was my first time at Splash Planet at I had a blast and it was much cooler back then and Splash planet and Splash planet usest (used) to be called Fantasy land.

My goal was to use vocabulary and it was hard at first but I got better at adding vocabulary into my writing. I used a thesaurus sometimes to get better words in my writing. It was hard to adding in commas and I still don't really know where to add them in. Sometimes it really challenges me to put the detail into my writing.

My biggest challenge  was the Fear Factor because my first piece of fear food was a Olive, but Mrs Hill said it was a Leech that had been boiled,  but the insides were still there and I took a little bite out of it, and it was disgusting, it made me want to throw up but I didn't, instead  I just spat it out and my second fear food was pig wee, but is was really sprite. But before I drunk it I put my finger in it then I quickly drunk it and I was like yum! That was delicious.

One of my favorite things at camp  were the chocolate game, 
it was fun to play because when someone got a six, they had to put two pieces of clothes on and then a glove on, then cut a piece of chocolate then eat it, but if someone different rolls a six you have  to stop and sit back down again. But it was funny because when someone went up, someone would roll a six  straight away, but that didn't happened to me.

Something I enjoyed was the water slide, because Daniel, Ben's dad, was putting dish washing soap on us and the slide, and I went really fast like a really big wave is flowing though a to and if we got to the end, we would get a lolly, but it really hurt when I went down because under the slide were sticks and rocks . But it didn't really mater because we all got a lolly.

Something that challenge me was going across the swing brig (bridge) because kids started to jump on it and , and  it started to swing, and it made me really nervous but I made it across it and I made it to Weka also the swing brig (bridge) look a hundred feet high.

Some thing I enjoyed was the funny faces. We did them on the last night on camp and I think, that Mrs Ramsay and Emma funny face were  the best, out of all of the funny faces at Camp Omatua.

My favorite book

I have been working on my favorite book it was hard of me to remember  all the characters in the story and I found out  what recommend means and it means if this is a good book or thing for you and you tell other people. Please read my  favorite book Good bye Mog.   

Swimming Presentation

I am proud of my  swimming Presentation because it took me a long time to get it right and I had to make a lot of changes . Because I had to make words right and get rid of some to make it all make sense but  it was really fun  making the presentation. I have never done it before so now I can do heaps more.

The thing that I like to do a lot is playing with my dog Sasha because she has a crazy half hour when she jumps up in the air and runs around in circles for about three minutes.   Then she runs really fast after me and Braxton but at the end of the deck me and Braxton stop and Sasha jumps right off, then her crazy haft hour ends and she goes back to being the same dog.  But she is still a lot of fun and she loves tummy rubs but what she love's more is being with me, also she is a bull dog.

            Calendar Art

For my Calendar art, I did Santa but  not just a normal Santa it was my hand print. It took me three times to get it right. Before I could put paint on my hand, I used white crayon for my snowflakes so the black dye didn’t cover it, also I did the moon and the stars in yellow crayon and all the colors that I used on Santa were red, black, white and yellow. Also I drew  the two buildings and a chimney and I cut them out after the dye had dried and it was not that hard for me.   

At the Beach

At Clifton there are a lot of seals out there and I have been able to get really close to them. 
On Saturday there were three out there, two little ones that were so cute and there was one that was a medium sized seal, they were all on the broken up rubble by the boat ramp. Also one of the little seals jumped off the rubble and landed in the water but a big wave came in and hit the seal and it crashed against  the rubble but it was ok and it swam out to sea. Then the other little seal jumped into the water but it didn’t have trouble getting out to sea and the medium one stayed where it was, the two little seals came back the the medium sized seal and they all jumped in at the same time. They waved at me and my nana and baby brother. 
On Sunday there were two seals out at Clifton and they were big. Also my Aunty was out there and she took pictures of the seals, I was able to get right beside one of the seals and it didn’t attack me. The other one was just laying down by the water and I named the one that was laying down by the water Lazybones and I named the other one TrickSee because he did tricks. 
Camden R came out with his family but they were so loud that Tricksee tried to attack them but he still didn’t attack me.
