bread

 Introduction
               
Why


One day I went to have some toast but there was no white soft bread left
so I said to my mum “can we make some bread” and she said yes it was so much fun.
When you are kneading the your bread only torn (turn) it over 2 times.
When you are mixing your ingredients to make your dough, mix for 1 minute.
When you get your water use warm water or als (else) your yeast won't activate.
Ingredients
1 Tbsp of flour
1 Tbsp of white  sugar      
1 tsp of oil
½ half cup of  warm water                      
1 cup of   flour
1 tsp yeast


Method


Pour  the dry ingredients into the bowl then stir it for 5 minutes.


Tip in the water not boiling hot or ice cold it hast to be warm.


Pour in some oil then blend all of the dry and wet ingredients together.


Check that it  is sticky and if it is not add more water.


Quickly some baking paper and spray it with baking spray or put some flour on it.


Put  your dough nicely on to the paper then knead it for 1 or 2 minutes.


Make it into whatever shape you want then cover it  so it can rise for 25 minutes.


Finally, put it in the oven for another 25 - 30 minutes when it is done eat it.
   
Last week we made bread it was fun to make and it was  messy. We made the dough after morning tea then we made the dough into what ever shape we wanted. Then we put ares (ours) into the oven to cook and also my buddy was Te Au and after it cook it was yum.

I have learnt that in the olden days they bake bread with out yeast and it used to take people a really long time to plant the seeds to grown the whet.
